Handcrafted by local maker Dean Babin, these French rolling pins are ideal for rolling out a variety of doughs such as cookie, pie and puff pastry.
The tapered, no-handle design makes this rolling pin easier to maneuver and control pressure for fine, close work.
Finished with a natural blend of premium heat treated walnut oil and beeswax.
If properly maintained this handcrafted kitchen tool can last a lifetime. To clean, wash with soap and hot water and towel dry afterward. Avoid soaking in water or placing in the dishwasher. When the surface becomes dry over time it can be re-conditioned by applying mineral oil or walnut oil with a cloth.
The ebonized rolling pins are blackened by a natural and food-safe oxidation process that reacts with the wood’s inherent tannins. No stains, dyes or pigments were used to create their dark, ebonized finish. Natural dyes will wear and develop a patina over time that will be unique to the object.
Dimensions: 18” L x 1 3/4" D.
