About Sunny & Co

Sunside & Co. is the creative partnership of glassmaker Alix DeFabbia-Kane and floral designer Molly Burke, two artists who first met in a glassblowing class at MassArt in 2015. They followed separate paths—Alix into professional glassmaking, Molly into floral design—until an unexpected reunion in Queens during the 2020 pandemic brought them back into each other’s orbit.

What began with a simple Instagram story turned into a renewed friendship and a return to the hot shop, where their creative energies quickly aligned. Alix’s mastery of hand-blown glass paired naturally with Molly’s eye for color and botanical form.

Sunside & Co. was born from that spark—a collaboration defined by craftsmanship, intuition, and the joy of making beautiful, functional pieces together.
